Pengumuman Pendaftaran Calon Anggota Bawaslu

Sesuai dengan Undang-undang Nomor 22 ,Tahun 2007 tentang Penyelenggaraan Pemilihan Umum, maka pendaftar calon anggota Bawaslu harus memenuhi persyaratan sebagaimana dimuat dalam Pasal 86. Bagi para pendaftar calon angota Bawaslu yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan sebagaimana dimaksud Pasal 86 sebaiknya mengurungkan niatnya untuk mendaftar angota Bawaslu.

Pemenuhan persyaratan calon anggota Bawaslu sebagaimana dimaksud Pasal 89, akan diseleksi melalui tiga tahapan seleksi, yaitu seleksi adminisratif, seleksi tertulis, dan seleksi lisan atau wawancara. Untuk mengetahui kepribadian calon yang cocok untuk menjadi angota Bawaslu, di samping ditentukan berdasarkan hasil tes tertulis juga berdasarkan hasil kegiatan outbond.

Adapun persyaratan tertulis dimuat dalam Pasal 86 Bagian Keempat, Undang-undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2007, selengkapnya dikutip sebagai berikut:



Pasal 86

Syarat untuk menjadi calon anggota Bawaslu, Panwaslu Provinsi, Panwaslu Kabupaten/Kota, dan Panwaslu Kecamatan, serta Pengawas Pemilu Lapangan adalah:
a. warga negara Indonesia;


b. berusia paling rendah 35 (tiga puluh lima) tahun;

c. setia kepada Pancasila sebagai dasar negara, Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia tahun 1945, dan cita-cita Proklamasi 17 Agustus 1945;

d. mempunyai integritas, pribadi yang kuat, jujur, dan adil;

e. memiliki pengetahuan dan keahlian di bidang yang berkaitan dengan pengawasan;

f. berpendidikan paling rendah S-1 untuk calon anggota Bawaslu, Panwaslu Provinsi, dan Panwaslu Kabupaten/Kota dan berpendidikan paling rendah SLTA atau yang sederajat untuk anggota Panwaslu Kecamatan dan Pengawas Pemilu Lapangan;

g. berdomisili di wilayah Republik Indonesia untuk anggota Bawaslu, di wilayah provinsi yang bersangkutan untuk anggota Panwaslu Provinsi, atau di wilayah kabupaten/kota yang bersangkutan untuk anggota Panwaslu Kabupaten/Kota yang dibuktikan dengan kartu tanda penduduk;

h. sehat jasmani dan rohani berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan kesehatan menyeluruh dari rumah sakit;

i. tidak pernah menjadi anggota partai politik yang dinyatakan secara tertulis dalam surat pernyataan yang sah atau sekurang-kurangnya dalam jangka waktu 5 (lima) tahun tidak lagi menjadi anggota partai politik yang dibuktikan dengan surat keterangan dari pengurus partai politik yang bersangkutan;

j. tidak pernah dipidana penjara berdasarkan putusan pengadilan yang telah mempunyai kekuatan hukum tetap karena melakukan tindak pidana yang diancam dengan pidana penjara 5 (lima) tahun atau lebih;

k. tidak sedang menduduki jabatan politik, jabatan struktural, dan jabatan fungsional dalam jabatan negeri;

l. bersedia bekerja penuh waktu; dan

m. bersedia tidak menduduki jabatan di pemerintahan dan badan usaha milik negara (BUMN)/badan usaha milik daerah (BUMD) selama masa keanggotaan.

Jika anda warga negara Indonesia,berumur minimal 35 (tiga puluh lima) tahun, berpendidikan minimal S.1, memenuhi persyaratan administratif lain sebagaimana yang diatur dalam Pasal 89 tersebut dan jangan lupa menyertakan dokumen lain pendukung kemampuan anda, selahkan mendaftar diri ke Sekretariat Timsel Bawaslu atau dikirim melalui jasa pengiriman asalkan berkas pendafataran diterima oleh Sekretariat Timsel pada 31 Desember 2007 sampai dengan 9 Januari 2008.
